contest for Sept-Oct 2011. The theme is Marauder's Generation. I wanted to do something completely different from the expected so I decided to do a youngish Rufus Scrimgeour. As a younger man he intrigues me and has such badass potential. I won't bore you with an essay on my vision of a young Rufus. I'll just say that his moral compass doesn't always point due north and he has blood on his hands, Ministry sanctioned blood.

There is so much I love about this picture! First of all: The colours- not too many and warm ones(red, yellow, brown), but they have a rather cold touch.
Character "design" - Scrimgeour already looks like a lion in his younger years, well done!
The "Interrogation" letters on the wall make the whole picture really scary, too. ...AND they fit more than well to him and the politics. I think without the word the picture would not have such a huge effect.
Last, but not least: Damn, he looks sexy!
